RPI's One-Way,
one piece spun aluminum vent is designed to vent moisture and pressure out from within the
completed Royal Edge roofing system.
2. Excellent resistance to heat, cold, and water.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Surfaces must be dry, free of dust, oil, water debris and other contaminants. Clean the surface of Royal Edge Membrane
using Hexaprene.
APPLICATION
1. When parapet walls are under one (1) foot in height at perimeter, install vents one (1) foot out from the perimeter edge and inside comers, and spaced every twenty-five (25) feet along perimeter edge.
2. When parapet walls are over one (1) foot in height at the perimeter, install vents four to six (4 to 6) feet out from
the perimeter edge and inside comers, and spaced every twenty-five (25) feet along perimeter edge.
Cut a six (6) inch diameter hole down to the old roofing membrane. Clean the Royal Edge membrane and mating surface of the vent using Hexaprene. Apply RPI Splicing Adhesive to both mating surfaces (let dry until tacky), install vent over center of hole, mate both surfaces. Final flashing to be done per RPI standard pipe flashing details.
NOTE: Rough up bottom and top of vent using sand paper,
etc.
